It's not just about good food and drink here—there are also lots of fun activities! In addition to our popular petanque courts, you can challenge friends or family to an intense game of table soccer, where quick reflexes and good humor are key ingredients.
You can let the children loose in our play area, which is equipped with various fun play equipment.
Outdoors, you can also test your skills at street soccer or play a game of ladder golf and see who hits the mark. All equipment can be borrowed at the bar, so you can jump right into the competition.

Mission and vision
Since opening in May 2017, Værftets Madmarked has invited the world inside and created a meeting place for residents and tourists. A meeting place that strives to create local jobs and contribute to the municipality of Helsingør.
The shipyard's food market embraces and contributes to showcasing the diversity of Helsingør Municipality by establishing itself as a permanent and versatile meeting place in North Zealand's cultural and experiential center, Kulturhavnen Kronborg.
The place where locals and tourists eat side by side after visiting the museum, where you can grab a quick bite or sit down for a leisurely meal, where colleagues meet for after-work drinks, and where the whole family can spend time together in peace and quiet.
The Shipyard Food Market is a diverse but local gathering place that contributes to Helsingør as a link between the urban surroundings and the cultural harbor.

The shipyard's food market has much more than just delicious food and drink!
In the outdoor areas, young and old alike can enjoy each other's company over a game of petanque on our petanque court. Equipment for the game can be borrowed from the bar in the hall.
