Arabic food

Syrian tapas and other specialties

Reem did not doubt for a moment that her dream could come true when she started Arabi Food in 2018 as the result of an integration collaboration between Helsingør Municipality and Værftets Madmarked.

And her confidence is well-founded! After almost two years of serving Syrian tapas from a borrowed cart, Reem was ready to take the next step, and her husband Yusuf was quick to support Reem's dream: to build a permanent stall with an expanded menu.

In the spring of 2020, all spare time was spent building stalls, finding suppliers of just the right ingredients, cooking, tasting, and adjusting. The result can be smelled from a distance and tastes as good as it smells.

Now you have the opportunity to enjoy delicious Syrian tapas platters, taste original Sish Kebab, and fresh homemade falafels.

The hosts' warm openness, confidence, and love are absolutely world class.

A new chapter in the shipyard's history has begun, and we look forward to sharing it with you!
